Granulators
The granulator has gate shears with a rotating shaft. A perforated screen is located underneath the shaft. The material is crushed between rotating and stationary shears until it falls through the screen holes.Both the cutting unit and the funnel open hydraulically by 90°. The heart of all Unicrex granulators is the unique rotor shaft on which the individual rotor arms made of hardened special steel are mounted.

Fast changing of cutters
The cutter chamber can be hydraulically tilted upwards by 90 degrees which results in maximum service accessibility. Rotor and stator cutters could be reached easily and changed fast. No climbing into the machine is necessary. The screw heads are placed on opposite side of product. Therefore they can't be damaged during granulation process and could removed during cutter changing easily.
Adjustable clearance
The cutter clearance between rotating and fixed blades can be easily adjusted from the outside. Fixed and rotating blades can be used fourfold.
Easy changing of sieve
Our granulators are always delivered with a maintencance drive. With the maintenance drive it is possible to turn the sieve to the upper side of the cutter module. Therefore the sieve can be removed easily, there is no need to remove outlet belt conveyors or outlet vibration systems.
Innovative maintenance drive
Our granulators are always delivered with a maintencance drive. With the maintenance drive it is possible to turn the sieve to the upper side of the cutter module. The rotor shaft can be turned with the maintenance drive additionally. This guaranties high safety work for the technician and avoids accidents by safe turning of rotor shaft during maintenance work.
Protection of bearing
The shaft‘s bearings are located outside the cutter chamber in order to prevent damage from aggressive materials.
